The Church Bay area has a distinct character which is a combination of scenic charm and individual properties scattered within the landscape. The outstanding beauty of the coastline makes it a popular location for tourists. The far reaching views take in Holy Island with the activity of the Port adding interest. Many ships shelter here prior to their trips to Liverpool. The surrounding countryside is dotted with smallholdings with an active farming community contributing to the special nature of this place.

The famous Lobster Pot restaurant is situated here. The busy villages of Valley and Cemaes Bay offer a further range of services and amenities. The town of Holyhead has a wide range of hotels, shops and restaurants. The speedy ferry links to Ireland make it a popular destination.
